CPV Manufacturing Adds VP of Sales

David S. London joined CPV Manufacturing as vice president of sales. London has over 30 years of experience in manufacturing operations and business management, including director of business development at Cryovation and senior vice president-worldwide sales at Smart-Hose Technologies. The introduction of new sales management experience comes as CPV Manufacturing continues to expand contracts in the United States and overseas.

Taylor-Wharton and Ratermann Form Distribution Partnership

To help provide the best possible service support in the purchasing of liquid cylinders, Taylor-Wharton has formed a distribution partnership with Ratermann Manufacturing for the sale of Taylor Wharton’s liquid cylinder products in North America. Among the features that Ratermann Manufacturing brings to this partnership are: 2 strategically located North American warehouses, cryogenic customer service departments with 5 regional cryogenic sales experts, and an expanding cryogenic parts catalogue.

Hands-On Innovation at Awisco Annual Trade Show

Fifty vendors showed their latest welding, safety and industrial equipment to more than 650 attendees at the 2015 Awisco Trade Show, held on May 20. Attendees included over 150 students and instructors from area trade schools Sussex County Vo-Tech, Morris County Vo-Tech, NYC School of Co-op Tech, APEX Technical School, Western Suffolk BOCES, and New York City’s prestigious The Julliard School, which offers a set design program as part of its Drama department. In addition to getting the latest product information, attendees ate more than 200 pounds of sausage, 600 kabobs, and 1,200 ice creams.

Air Liquide Begins Operations at New CO2 Liquefaction Facility

Air Liquide has commenced operations at a new carbon dioxide liquefaction facility in Tulare County, CA, 1 of 3 CO2 liquefaction plants owned and operated by Air Liquide in the region. The new facility will produce 450 tons of product a day. The carbon dioxide emitted from Calgren Renewable Fuels-owned ethanol plant is captured by the new facility, and purified and liquefied. Air Liquide will supply purified and liquefied product to various food, beverage and manufacturing industries in the region.
