Presidential Hopeful Visits Hypertherm
Hanover, NH — Presidential candidate Mitt Romney stopped by the Hypertherm plant in Hanover, NH, on December 21. While at the factory, Romney learned how to cut on a plasma cutting machine and, according to a statement on Hypertherm’s Facebook page, the presidential hopeful performed a drop cut on his first try. “As a businessman, he was impressed with our training programs, no layoff policy, associate stock ownership program and that we’re adding manufacturing jobs to the U.S. economy,” a Hypertherm spokesperson says. Romney hosted a town-hall-style meeting, where he fielded questions from Hypertherm employees and stressed his job-creating abilities. The visit was part of his campaign trail through the state, in anticipation of the January 10 New Hampshire presidential primaries.

CeeKay Santas Helpers

Santa’s Helpers Founder Rita Swiener in front of the camera at Cee Kay’s warehouse

Cee Kay Helps Santa
St. Louis, MO — When the St. Louis-based non-profit organization Santa’s Helpers was informed that it needed to move out of its warehouse, Founder Rita Swiener reached out to its network of volunteers for help. One of the volunteers, who does business with Cee Kay Supply, knew that the company had been seeking to rent out warehouse space at its headquarters. When Cee Kay’s leadership learned how the group provides gifts to over 2,000 under-resourced and terminally ill children and their families during the holidays, CEO and Owner Tom Dunn reached out to Swiener and offered Santa’s Helpers the space completely free of charge. “We were all in shock; never in the history of our organization have we had such an amazing warehouse space in a centrally located and safe neighborhood,” says a spokesperson for Santa’s Helpers. Thanks to Cee Kay Supply, Santa’s Helpers was able to continue to bring joy and happiness to deserving families this holiday season.
