Southwest Regional Gives Back

The Southwest regional meeting in Kansas City, MO, drew more than 80 attendees. With the support of distributor and supplier contributions, event coordinators David Hanchette and Ned Lane were pleased to report a donation of $750 for GAWDA Gives Back. During the business meeting, Gregg Peters of Praxair spoke about the industrial gas outlook for helium and acetylene. Chart Industries’ Tom Chromy looked at where Chart sees the market heading. Chris Bailey from Lincoln Electric discussed automation trends and stressed that automation is the key to the future for U.S. manufacturers to compete globally. Participants also enjoyed perfect weather for a golf outing at Tiffany Springs Golf Club.
