Syracuse, NY — Haun Welding Supply added the final pieces to its recently automated fill plant with the addition of liquid carbon dioxide filling equipment. A moveable manifold and fill head boost efficiencies by enabling plant workers to fill 16 cylinders and stage the next batch simultaneously. When filling is complete, the system will automatically update the inventory list with the cylinder types filled. “Being fully automated boosts our efficiencies tremendously,” says Syracuse Branch Manager Al Dohrn. “We will be able to fill orders as they come in, rather than trying to project how much of each gas our branches will need for the day.”
