GAWDA has negotiated discounted room rates for the Annual Convention at the Grand Wailea Resort Hotel & Spa. Please make your reservation directly with the Grand Wailea on or before August 23, 2010, by calling (800) 888-6100. Reservations may also be made online at www.gawda.org. The hotel will accept reservations at the reduced convention rate on a space-available basis until August 23, 2010, or until rooms are sold out, whichever comes first.

President’s Gala
GAWDA will close out this year’s convention on October 5 with Dr. Zarr’s Amazing Funk Monster. Named one of the best bands in the South, the Dr. Zarr dance band has entertained legions of funky partygoers (aka GAWDA members) for a decade. Dr. Zarr’s Amazing Funk Monster entertains with music you can’t stay still to. It will be an energetic and fun performance, and the band is sure to end the convention on a high note. This is one luau you won’t want to miss!
