GAWDA has negotiated discounted room rates for the Annual Convention at the Grand Wailea Resort Hotel & Spa. Please make your reservation directly with the Grand Wailea on or before August 23, 2010, by calling (800) 888-6100. Reservations may also be made online at www.gawda.org. The hotel will accept reservations at the reduced convention rate on a space-available basis until August 23, 2010, or until rooms are sold out, whichever comes first.

President’s Gala
GAWDA will close out this year’s convention on October 5 with Dr. Zarr’s Amazing Funk Monster. Named one of the best bands in the South, the Dr. Zarr dance band has entertained legions of funky partygoers (aka GAWDA members) for a decade. Dr. Zarr’s Amazing Funk Monster entertains with music you can’t stay still to. It will be an energetic and fun performance, and the band is sure to end the convention on a high note. This is one luau you won’t want to miss!

	Mike Weller Mike Weller has been part of the Miller Electric family for 29 years, and currently is president of ITW North America Welding. His divisional responsibilities include Miller Electric Mfg. Co., Hobart Brothers, Hobart Retail, Tregaskiss, Bernard, Jetline, Weldcraft, Smith and Tempil.
	Joe Theismann Joe Theismann is a former star quarterback for the Washington Redskins. For years football fans have watched Theismann on ESPN’s NFL broadcasts.Currently, he is the host of The Joe Theismann Radio Show and an analyst for the NFL Network’s Playbook. He is the author of The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Understanding Football Like a Pro.
	Krish Dhanam Krish Dhanam is an executive coach, speaker and author. One of only two executive coaches trained by Zig Ziglar, Dhanam has spoken in over 40 international venues and throughout the continental United States. He has received accolades from the United States Army, the Environmental Protection Agency, Steelcase Industries and Christian Dior, to name a few. 	Anita Renfroe Anita Renfroe is a speaker, author and comedian. She has appeared on ABC’s Good Morning America, Dr. Phil, CBS’s The Early Show, and Fox News’ Fox & Friends, among others. Renfroe has her own comedy tour and performs at conferences across the country. She has authored several books and produced numerous DVDs.
	Ross Shafer Ross Shafer is a motivational speaker, seminar leader and author. Shafer has a long list of television credits attached to his name including host of Fox Network’s The Late Show and ABC’s Match Game.
